Amber works at the ShopRite of Front & Olney in Philadelphia where she provides free nutrition services to associates, customers, and the community. The services include: individual nutrition counseling, menu ideas& recipe makeovers, in-store health screening, shop with the Dietitian, educational guided store tours, cooking demos, kids healthy eating events, and community health & wellness program.


Philadelphia Canoe Club
PCC consists of a dedicated group of canoeists and kayakers. All club trips, training, and events are open to the public, and do not require membership. The club promotes paddling, and paddle sports in the Philadelphia area, training new paddlers, and leading trips all over the US, year round.

Neighborhood Bike Works
Neighborhood Bike Works is a nonprofit educational organization in Philadelphia that seeks to increase opportunities for urban youth in underserved neighborhoods in greater Philadelphia by offering educational, recreational, and career-building opportunities through bicycling; it also promotes cycling as a healthy, affordable, environment-friendly form of transportation.


Philadelphia Outrigger Canoe Club
Outrigger canoe paddling is a sport with roots in ancient Hawaiian culture. Today, outrigger canoe paddling is a popular sport, especially in Hawaii, but also all over the United States and around the world. The Philadelphia Outrigger Canoe Club has been paddling in local and regional waterways since 1995. The Club invites anyone interested in paddling to come out and give it a try.


Schuylkill River Greenway Association
Based in Pottstown, PA, the Schuylkill River Greenway Association is responsible for managing the Schuylkill River National and State Heritage Area, designated by the US Congress in 2000. The boundaries of the Heritage Area cover the Schuylkill's watershed in Schuylkill, Berks, Chester, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties. This region is nationally significant for the role its people, places, and events played in the American, Industrial, and Environmental Revolutions. The Heritage Area is home to over 3.2 million people across the five counties. Approximately 1.75 million people draw their drinking water directly from the River.
